Senior Product Owner

As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in driving the success of our Agile product teams by owning and managing the product backlog and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value. You will serve as the voice of the customer and ensure that team efforts align with business goals and user needs. 

LOCATION: 

Lviv, Ukraine (onsite at a brand-new office in BC "Natsionalnyy") and remote working option 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions. 
  • Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility. 
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, stakeholders, and other Product Owners to deliver high-quality product increments. 
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and promote Agile best practices, particularly SAFe. 
  • Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product direction. 
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication across all involved teams. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments. 
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, with hands-on experience working in Agile teams. 
  • Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments is required. 
  • Proficiency in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature prioritization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and balance business and technical considerations. 
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. 
  • Proficiency with Agile tools, especially Azure DevOps. 
  • English — Advanced, both written and verbal.
