Senior Blockchain Researcher Engineer
As a part of devspiration, you will have the opportunity to contribute as a Blockchain Researcher Engineer, by optimizing transaction extraction processes to handle large-scale blockchain networks and varying transaction volumes for professional financial services for one of the “Big Four” companies.
LOCATION:
Lviv, Ukraine (onsite at a brand-new office in BC "Natsionalnyy") or remote working option.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-depth analysis of extracted transactions to derive meaningful insights and patterns.
- Develop and implement strategies to extract transactions from blockchain nodes efficiently.
- Utilize APIs, SDKs, or direct node interactions to retrieve transaction data while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Conduct research on blockchain scalability, privacy, security, and interoperability solutions.
- Collaborate with blockchain developers, cryptographers, and software engineers to translate research findings into practical solutions and applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid and proven experience in blockchain research, development, or related fields.
- Proven experience in extracting and processing transactions from blockchain nodes using APIs, SDKs, or direct node interactions.
- Familiarity with blockchain data structures, including blocks, transactions, Merkle trees, and cryptographic hashing algorithms.
- Ability to optimize transaction extraction processes for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Demonstrated understanding of various blockchain architectures such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Solana, Litecoin, Toncoin etc.
- Experience with blockchain development frameworks and tools like Ethereum Solidity, Web3.js, Hyperledger Composer, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development such as Python or similar as JS, Go, or Solidity is required.
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
