Senior AQA Engineer (shift work hours)
As a part of devspiration, you will have the opportunity to contribute as a General QA Engineer, working on a project which is an enterprise web application for professional financial services for one of the “Big Four” companies.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Years of Experience:
6 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT quality assurance and control within software/systems development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or preferred a proven record of success as a team leader in Quality Assurance engineering methodologies to achieve an efficient testing effort that delivers a quality system to its customers including the following areas:
- Minimum 4+ years of work experience with Java.
- Preferred experience with Selenium automation frameworks.
- Testing for front-end/GUI, APIs, Backend testing using DevTest Service Virtualization, Postman and custom in-house tools or frameworks.
- Preferred experience in working within Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Preferred experience in Python and PowerShell scripting.
- Expertise in CI-CD implementation using Azure dev-ops for complete end to end API and UI automation.
Responsibilities:
- Work hours till 9-10pm Ukrainian time is required
- Designing, improving and integrating business processes across disparate systems.
- Working collaboratively with product owners, Solution architects and engineers to define automation testing approach/strategies.
- Participating in backlog review and refinement activities to help facilitate analysis and test design.
- Conducting test planning, test design, test execution, and bug management.
- Identify, record and Track bugs to resolution across all supported environments.
- Automating, Conducting, and maintaining Smoke, Functional, API, Integration, Regression and various other forms of white box testing.
- Collaborating with the DevOps engineering team to ensure integration of the automated test suite into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Communicating dependencies, risks, constraints to the team and actively seeking resolution.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Design, develop and execute end to end automation scripts/suites.
- Perform rigorous regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet product needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to further identify product requirements and user expectations.
