Senior Cloud Engineer

As a part of devspiration, you will have the opportunity to contribute as a Cloud Engineer, working on a project which offers strategies and rapid delivery methods proven to simplify processes and technologies that unlock revenue generation and operational efficiencies. 

The focus of the project is servicing business needs and optimizing costly or maintenance-intensive application development, data management, and reporting ecosystems.

SKILLS: 

  • Experience building automation that deploys, maintains and monitors production payloads 
  • Participating in agile software planning and development activities including daily standups, user story and task organization and grooming activities, and effort estimation 
  • Establish robust and transparent infrastructure with a code-first mindset 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively 
  • Experience working on a variety and changing set of platforms such as Azure (AWS or GCP) and in-house datacenters managing IAM, build, configure, test and deployment pipelines 
  • Willingness to jump in where needed, learn new tech, and work effectively across full stack 
  • Outstanding analytical and programming skills 
  • Automate all things, everywhere (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes) 

    

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with common IAC tools and frameworks such as Terraform 
  • English: Upper-Intermediate or higher 
  • In-depth understanding of cloud native architecture, design and service offerings 
  • Strong understanding of core CI/CD concepts 
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to convey proposed solutions through natural language, diagrams, and design patterns 
  • Pacific Time, working schedule till 9pm Ukraine time min required
